I had the pleasure to come to Newfoundland’s beautiful West Coast and do a hiking in trip with Grand Lake Adventures Inc. The hiking tour was done in a ecological reserve and was some of the most pristine landscape I have ever seen. In fact it is very comparable to Alaska. It is just simply breath taking with all the mountains, brooks, wildlife and diverse vegetation. My guide was very informative and knew all about the wildlife and vegetation. The helicopter ride in to base camp also gave another view of the land and lakes that is unforgettable. This trip surpassed my expectations in what I thought Newfoundland was like. This region is a hidden gem and I would recommend it to anyone. I will be back!!
